District 23 (NY State District 23, Section 3 South) was formed in 1965, when Little league in the Bronx grew to the point that a new district had to be created. District 23 is made up of leagues in Manhattan, the North West Bronx, and Brooklyn.
Peter Gauss is the 6th District Administrator of District 23, having succeeded Jimmy Nolan, who passed away in 2021.
